Chinese president Xi promised to work closely with the United Nation to make the vision of sustainable development a reality at the UN Sustainable Development Summit on 23 September 2015.

In 2017, the lnternational Mayors Commuication Centre(IMCC) autorise Green City (shenzhen) Public Services to build the Open Green City Laboratory on theside of Shenzhen Riveer and the picturesque Hongshulin Wetlands,where the Greater  Bay area joins the Sea. On28 November 2017,41 state-owned and local media were invited to the media conference and reported on the establishment of OGCLab. On 9-18 July2018,Ms.jin Lan,the executive director of IMCC, attended the UN High-Level Political Forum 2018 on Sustainable Development with the module of OGCLab. Ln alignment with Camp One Planet Project at the UN square ,the OGCLab can work as a demonstrative projectfor the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
