Our goal is to promote the eco-friendly development of cities by appealing to local authorities of various countries. As environmental issues become increasingly severe, many authorities have begun considering a more appropriate economic development model that allows the sustentation of both economic development and social prosperity. Furthermore, consumers, investors and stakeholders are now also requesting businesses to be more transparent with their methods. A new competitive market composed of low carbon footprints and sustainable products is growing, and many businesses are embracing these new developments.

The International Mayors Communication Centre has been a non-governmental organization in special consultative status with the United Nations since July 25, 2017.
