● Current Situation
Vaccination is a simple, safe, and effective way of protecting people against harmful diseases, before they come into contact with them. It uses your body’s natural defenses to build resistance to specific infections and makes your immune system stronger. Most vaccines are given by an injection, but some are given orally (by mouth) or sprayed into the nose.

China has been constantly improving its immunization program system. With its financial capacity growing, China has increased the types of vaccines included in the national immunization program, covering 15 communicable diseases. With the improvement of living standards, people have higher health demand. There are challenges in the expansion of vaccine varieties included in the national immunization program, thus bringing difficulties in keeping up with the public’s needs. Especially, with the implementation of the two-child policy, there may be more than 18 million newborns every year in the future.

About China
Shenzhen Builds First Smart City Vaccine Network
In the past five years, the number of newborns in Shenzhen has exceeded 200,000 each year. In order to create a healthy and safe vaccination environment, Shenzhen and Haier Biology jointly launched the smart IOT upgrade project in the 538 vaccination sites to build the first smart city vaccine network in China.
The smart vaccine solution cares about people’s experience and can automatically match vaccine information. People can check the information on the terminal equipment, which liberates the heavy manual registration and inventory work of medical staff. The system can trace back to the smallest single vaccine, thus greatly improving the government's vaccine supervision capacity.
