China has used digital technology such as big data analysis, artificial intelligence and cloud computing to manage the Covid-19 epidemics. The technology enables the government to play a better role in epidemic surveillance and analysis, tracking of infection risk sources, implementation of social isolation measures and deployment of emergency resources. The application of "Health Code" can identify the "precise prevention and control" of high-risk population, greatly reducing the cost of anti-epidemic. It avoids the huge economic and social costs and lost caused by area lockdown.
