The United Nations defined Gender Mainstreaming as a global strategy to promote gender equality at the fourth World Women Conference in 1995. Since then, most countries and regions in the world have responded to the request of the United Nations and raised the promotion of Gender Mainstreaming to the national political will. They have explored from the levels of government agencies, legal protection and policies that constitute the national mechanism, and started from the top to promote gender equality and women's development. Sustainable Development Goal 5, "achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls", is a separate goal for gender issues and is committed to addressing all gender inequalities. We need to go deep into the legal and legislative areas and make changes to protect women's rights around the world.
